A Door of Hope is a corporation organized in North Carolina that is doing the work of evangelism in Costa Rica, particularly in Matapalo. There is no Christian church in Matapalo currently.

We are moving into our next phase of establishing a kids' club. We will teach Bible, jewelry making, cooking, English, sewing, and computer skills. We believe the salvation of the soul comes first and is the moral compass that allows humans to live life in a way that pleases God. We also believe in equipping people to make money through legal means that edify them and add value to the community. With this whole-person approach, the men and women who follow Jesus are equipped to be who God created them to be.
